Data Scientist (w/m/d)

Your mission

As a Data Scientist/AI Designer, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing advanced data models and AI algorithms to shape the future of B2B procurement. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to leverage data analysis and AI technology, ensuring our platform delivers an exceptional user experience and meets the evolving needs of our customers.
Your responsibilities include:

• Analyzing large datasets to extract valuable insights and identify trends. Developing predictive models and algorithms to optimize various aspects of the marketplace, including recommendation systems, search relevance, and pricing strategies.
• Designing and implementing AI-driven features that enhance the user experience, such as personalization, automation, and intelligent search. Collaborating closely with software engineers to ensure the seamless integration of AI models into the platform.
• Defining and prioritizing AI initiatives in close coordination with product management based on business goals and user needs. Developing a clear roadmap for AI integration and continuously refining strategies to adapt to market trends.
• Establishing metrics and methods to evaluate the performance of AI models and data-driven features. Conducting regular analyses and making data-driven decisions to improve the accuracy and effectiveness of models.
• Collaborating with UX/UI designers to ensure AI-driven features are user-friendly and visually appealing. Communicating complex data analyses and AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders in an understandable manner.

Your profile

• You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
• You have proven experience as a Data Scientist, AI Designer, or in a similar role, preferably in a marketplace or e-commerce environment.
• You have strong proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Python, R) and machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and database management (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
• A solid understanding of AI/ML algorithms and their applications in real-world scenarios.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
