Your mission
- Actively shape and implement our transition to Kubernetes: migration of applications and services from our existing VMware platform
- Further development and maintenance of our Kubernetes-based and VM-based platforms with a focus on user experience, observability, and security
- Ensuring and optimizing the stability and performance of our systems
- Automation and optimization of build, test, and deployment processes (CI/CD)
- Close collaboration with development teams to optimize software delivery and integration
- Evaluation of new technologies and continuous learning in relevant areas
Your profile
- Completed degree in Computer Science or a comparable field of study, or
- An IT-related vocational qualification with relevant professional experience in a similar position
- Basic understanding of DevOps principles and interest in their practical implementation
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles, with a focus on Terraform and Ansible
- Experience with a cloud provider such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Experience with Git, GitOps workflows, and managing Kubernetes clusters
- Proficient in Linux and with Prometheus-/Grafana-based monitoring systems
- Knowledge in the configuration and implementation of Kubernetes resources
- Ability to work independently and a willingness to continuously learn and acquire new technologies
- Fluency in both German and English (C1)

Deine Aufgaben
- Aktive Mitgestaltung unserer Transition zu Kubernetes: Migration von Anwendungen und Services von unserer bestehenden VMware-Plattform zu Kubernetes.
- Weiterentwicklung und Wartung unserer Kubernetes-basierten sowie VM-basierten Plattform mit Fokus auf User Experience, Observability und Security.
- Sicherstellung und Optimierung der Stabilität, Performance unserer Systeme.
- Automatisierung und Optimierung von Build-, Test- und Deployment-Prozessen (CI/CD)
- Enge Zusammenarbeit mit Entwicklungsteams zur Optimierung der Softwarebereitstellung und -integration.
- Evaluierung neuer Technologien und stetige Weiterbildung in entsprechenden Bereichen
Dein Profil
- Abgeschlossenes Studium der Informatik bzw. einer vergleichbaren Studienrichtung oder
- Eine IT-technische Berufsausbildung mit einschlägiger Berufserfahrung in vergleichbarer Position
- Grundverständnis für DevOps-Prinzipien und Interesse an deren praktischer Umsetzung
- Kenntnisse der Prinzipien von Infrastructure as Code (IaC), mit Schwerpunkt auf Terraform und Ansible
- Erfahrung mit einem Cloudanbieter wie AWS, Azure oder GCP
- Erfahrung mit Git, GitOps-Workflows sowie der Verwaltung von Kubernetes-Clustern
- Sicherer Umgang mit Linux sowie mit Prometheus-/Grafana-basierten Monitoringsystemen
- Kenntnisse in der Konfiguration und Implementierung von Kubernetes-Ressourcen
- Fähigkeit zum eigenständigen Arbeiten sowie Bereitschaft zur kontinuierlichen Weiterbildung und Aneignung neuer Technologien
- Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse (C1)
