As Managing Director Media Sales (m/f/d), you will hold strategic and operational responsibility for the media sales activities of the Invia Media Group, a company specializing in the marketing of advertising spaces across the DACH and CEE regions. This role focuses on developing innovative marketing strategies, optimizing existing structures, and driving digital transformation to enhance the company’s market position and ensure sustainable growth.
Your tasks
- Management of the Invia Media Group: Strategic and operational responsibility for the marketing of relevant advertising space for INVIA's regional companies in the DACH and CEE regions, with a focus on maximising their performance and market impact.
- Optimisation of advertising space and revenue: Driving the optimisation of publisher advertising space and achieving absolute and relative revenue growth for the Group's regional entities through targeted strategies and initiatives.
- Enhance software solutions: Enhance existing publishing and reporting software solutions in close collaboration with external service providers to ensure efficient, state-of-the-art tools and processes.
- Develop and enhance key account relationships: Establish, maintain and develop relationships with key advertisers, including destination management organisations, airlines, hotel chains, tourism and non-tourism partners and media partners.
- Team building and leadership: Build and manage a team of 5-8 media sales professionals with a focus on fostering a high performing, goal oriented work environment.
Your profile
- Extensive online media/advertising experience: Several years of proven experience in online media and advertising, including the development and execution of effective sales strategies.
- Leadership Skills: Strong track record of leading and managing specialised teams and sales staff with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
- In-depth media sales expertise: Deep understanding of the dynamics of online media sales combined with a solid track record of success in this area.
- Technical Expertise: Strong technical understanding of digital tools, publishing platforms and reporting solutions, with experience of optimising workflows and systems.
- Digital Native Personality: A mindset that embraces digital innovation, with the ability to adapt quickly to evolving trends and technologies.
- Entrepreneurial Mindset: Strategic thinking and the ability to act as a business leader for the department or organisation, with a focus on sustainable growth and development.
- Language skills: Fluency in English to communicate and collaborate effectively in an international business environment.
