The job
We are seeking a talented and highly motivated data scientist (f/m/x) for structuring and analysing our lake and reservoir monitoring program data.
Your tasks
Development and application of workflows for quality control and visualisation of long-term monitoring activities
Integration of quality controlled data into UFZ data infrastructures
Evaluation of long-term data by statistical modelling and further mathematical tools
Documentation, presentation and scientific publishing of results

Your profile

Masters or PhD in Environmental Sciences, Environmental Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or Limnology or related disciplines programming skills in script-oriented languages like R or Python
Good communication and writing skills
