DEINE ROLLE

As a senior web developer, you will have the exciting opportunity to architect and deliver high-quality software components that comprise our enterprise application. Your main duty will be to extend a novel framework for image visualization and manipulation with our own image analysis AI algorithms, touching the lives of thousands of patients and healthcare workers around the globe. It is a remote full-time position with 40 working hours per week:

• As a professional, you analyze complex requirements, break them down into units of work (i.e. design specifications) and estimate the level of effort required to implement them.
• You design and implement own software, but you also evaluate and integrate 3rd party libraries and frameworks to increase robustness and reduce overall development time.
• In your senior role, together with other senior team members, you define and adhere to best-practices related to architecture, security, testing and coding standards. 
• By applying adequate tests and metrics and through collaborating with our DevOps in the continuous improvement of our CI-CD pipeline, you ensure our software meets all quality, security, scalability and performance requirements.

DEIN PROFIL

• Degree/certification in Software Engineering or related field. 
• 3+ years of professional experience in developing web-based applications. 
• 1+ years of professional experience in software development using JavaScript/Typescript and NodeJS.  
• Fluency in English or German langue with residence in Germany.
• Your personality:Excellent analytical skills. 
• Natural interest to learn new interesting technologies.
• Highly self-organized.
• Strong problem solving skills.

Desired Skills and Capabilities 

• 3+ years of professional experience in software development using Angular, NodeJS and common RDBMS such as PostgreSQL 
• 1+ years of experience developing software products in a Research & Development department of a software company 
• Interest or experience with browser-based visualization of medical images and related frameworks like Cornerstone and the DICOM standard
• Experience developing enterprise-grade software in regulated environments, like life-sciences
• Familiarity with healthcare informatics and related standards, like HL7 or FHIR
